Our Flagship Teaching Courses
Depending on your requirements, you can choose from Bachelor of Education (B Ed), postgraduate certificates, diplomas, honours, and Master of Education courses, among others. Each programme is created to fulfil specific criteria to allow you to operate at the designated level - be that at a foundation phase, senior phase, or education management level. Select courses, such as the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and B Ed programmes, follow a hybrid learning model. The course programme is online, and the compulsory work-integrated learning or teaching practice component is done in person at a school. Starting in year two of the degree, each teaching practice session runs over four consecutive weeks each semester. Students must attend schools within a hundred-kilometre radius of MANCOSA’s learning centres in Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Polokwane, Pietermaritzburg, East London, Gqeberha and Pretoria. These courses are open to SA Applicants only.
